Swimarathon
It's that time of year again where staff join in this fanatastic event in aid of Guernsey Alzheimers Association. There will be our talented triathlete Lucy, our nurses and several of our young and not so young vets! Please support us and this worthy charity if you can! We are in the pool Thursday evening! Good luck to all those taking part.

Seafront Sunday
What a perfect day for the GSPCA event. Do come and see us to try ‘Pin the tail on the Dog’ for a chance to win a teddy or a day following a vet in the practice.

Fleas and ticks are at their peak at this time of year so they’re an even greater risk to your pet, family and home.
Luckily, it’s still easy to control these parasites with a tasty, chew for dogs or an easy-to-apply spot-on for cats. Contact us for advice for their ongoing care.

Keep dogs cool
Cars are no place to leave your dog during these hot days. Remember to keep them cool. Even pavements can become very hot to walk on during the day. Short nosed breeds and those with heart and lung problems are particularly vulnerable to the heat. Provision of water and shade are paramount.

I’ve had lots of communication with the practice over the last couple of weeks, as always they’re doing an incredible job in these very different times. Keep up the good work.

One of my customers, lovely lady.

My little dog has just spent 4 days in the vets. He’s been most unwell but the whole team have been fantastic. Phoning me at least twice a day to update his progress. They are doing a fantastic job under very difficult circumstances! 👍

You are all doing an amazing job. Keep up the good work and stay safe

Thank you all for all your hard work 👏

L'Islet branch open Friday 1st May on restricted hours
We are trying to service clients at our main practice in St Peter Port having split our team into two. The reduced capacity for appointments at the main practice and skeleton staffing means we have decided to open the L'Islet branch daily for restricted hours only.
From Friday 1st May, appointments and prescription collections can be made at L'Islet between 9.30 and 11.30 am and 3-5pm.
The same social distancing will take place at L'Islet and clients will need to wait in the car whilst their pet is examined, adopting social distancing regulations. Thank you for your ongoing patience and suppport.
