Veterinary Surgeons
Dr Doreen Munn-Litten
BVMS CertSAS MRCVS, Clinical Director and Veterinary Surgeon
After graduating from Glasgow University in 1995, Doreen headed to North Lancashire, before working in the East Midlands for 13 years and obtaining her certificate in small animal surgery. She has a particular interest in orthopaedic and gastrointestinal surgery, and teaches an undergraduate surgical course at the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. She joined us in 2009 and oversees the progression of our surgical offering, including the application of the latest surgical techniques. In her own time, she loves looking after her lovely children, running and enjoying the outdoor delights of Guernsey life.
Dr Sarah-Jane Diamond
BSc BVSc Cert AVP (ED) MRCVS, Clinical Director & Veterinary Surgeon
Sarah graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1999. After an initial spell in general practice work, she moved into equine care for 11 years, before returning to Guernsey in 2012. She holds an RCVS certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Equine Dentistry, and also has an interest in cardiology, equine medicine and orthopaedics. She enjoys spending her free time with her sons and her animals.
Dr Mairi Le Cocq
BVMS, CertAVP MRCVS, Clinical Director and Veterinary Surgeon
Originally from Argyll in Scotland, Mairi joined us as a mixed animal practitioner after graduating from Glasgow University in 2018. As a keen traveller with an interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine, she spent time abroad while at university, working with equids in Morocco, dogs in India and Bulgaria, cattle in New Zealand and elephants in Sri Lanka. In her own time, she loves the outdoor life and keeping active through horse riding and cycling.
Dr Kiara Mills
BVSc CertAVP(GSAS) PGCertVPS MRCVS, Clinical Director and Veterinary Surgeon
Kiara grew up on the island and returned after a few years away spent studying at the University of Liverpool and working in Scotland. During this time, she spent two years at a referral hospital, undertaking a rotating and surgical internship, and five years in general and emergency practice. She also completed the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, before becoming an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery in 2024. She has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and enjoys spending her free time with her children, as well as walking, climbing and skiing.
Dr Olivia Le Ray
BVetMed MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon
Originally from Yorkshire, Olivia joined us in 2019, shortly after graduating from the Royal Veterinary College. Prior to this, she completed an animal science degree at the University of Nottingham. She enjoys all aspects of her role, particularly small animal dentistry. In her free time, she loves walking her dog along the beach, reading and visiting Herm with her family.
Mrs Corinne Smith
MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon
Corinne graduated from Zurich University in 2002, before working mainly with farm animals in the Swiss Alps. She joined us in 2002 and carries out small animal work, primarily at our L’Islet branch. Having always been a cat owner, she has a keen interest in feline behaviour. Away from the practice, you might spot her walking her dog on L’Ancresse Common or chauffeuring her three children around.
Frederika Dicks
BVMSci MRCVS, Veterinary Surgeon
I graduated from the University of Surrey Vet School in 2022, and after two years in mixed practice in Herefordshire, I joined the Isabelle Vets team in 2024. Prior to this I completed a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Leeds in 2015, and have a strong interest in all things medical.
My passions lie with internal and emergency medicine, as well as soft tissue surgery and ultrasound imaging. In my (limited) free time, I love to go for hikes with my husband and one year old son, practice yoga, go for a quick sea swim, or curl up on the sofa with my cat Humphrey and a good book.

Isaac graduated from the University of Surrey in 2022, and enjoys the variety of everyday consulting. He particularly values clear communication, helping owners to understand their pet’s health and feel confident about their treatment plans. Outside of work, you’ll either find him on the beach with his dog or on the padel tennis court.

Laura Van Zyl
RVN, Head Veterinary Nurse
Laura joined Isabelle Vets in 2001 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2008. As head nurse, she is responsible for managing the nursing team and rotas, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our hospital and surgical sites. She is particularly passionate about developing great relationships with our clients and their animals at nurse clinics. Away from work, she is an avid reader and enjoys spending time with her family and their dog, Rambo.
Demelza Le Ber
RVN, Senior Veterinary Nurse and Accounts Administrator
Demelza joined the practice as a weekend assistant in 2002 while still at school, before joining us full-time and completing her nursing training in 2009. As a senior nurse, she is responsible for coaching our trainee nurses and assisting with our equine procedures. She also works as an accounts administrator and helps to manage our Pet Health Club. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog, Storm and riding her horse, Bob.
Sarah Ozanne
RVN, Senior Veterinary Nurse
After graduating, Sarah returned to Guernsey and volunteered at the GSPCA, where she learnt about the treatment, assessment and rehabilitation of animals and wildlife. She joined our team in 2017, going on to qualify as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020. Her dog, Frank, is a much-loved regular patient and enjoys all the attention he receives.

Danielle started with us as a weekend assistant in 2005, before enrolling as a student nurse and qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2010. She has a keen interest in rehabilitation and hydrotherapy, having completed a diploma in canine rehabilitation therapy and a certificate in canine hydrotherapy. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering as a Brownie leader. She also has nine chickens, three cats and three tortoises to contend with!

Rhiannon joined the team in 2021 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse three years later. She has always dreamed of working with animals, and spends much of her free time with her pets at home, as well as competing her horse, Bella. She also competes locally and overseas in athletics events, specialising in hurdles.

After eight years spent working for the States of Guernsey, Zachary sought a change of pace and joined our veterinary care team, before going on to start his nursing training in 2023. He has always had a passion for animal care, which he developed while volunteering at the GSPCA and caring for his childhood pets, which included dogs, cats, chinchillas and terrapins. In his own time, he enjoys taking his dog for adventures around Guernsey and travelling to Herm, Sark or Alderney on his boat.

Michelle joined the team in 2021, having previously held positions in education and law. She was looking for a change in career and took the opportunity to train as our laboratory technicians. The varied and rewarding nature of the role keeps her on her toes. As a Guernsey girl, she enjoys spending her free time going for long walks on our island’s beautiful cliffs and coastal paths, while catching up with friends.

Hydrotherapist and Receptionist
Laura holds a master’s degree in equine science and worked as a livestock assistant and in client-based roles while studying. She developed an interest in hydrotherapy while at university and when her own dog needed hydrotherapy. After joining our practice as a receptionist, she was given the opportunity to shadow a hydrotherapist on their cases, before achieving her level three certificate in canine hydrotherapy in 2023. Outside of work, she loves walking her dog, Jax, horse riding and spending time with her cat, Thor.

Beckie joined the practice in 2020, bringing with her five years of experience working as an animal care assistant at The GSPCA, where she took an active role in their wildlife hospital department. She has always loved animals and was inspired to pursue a career in animal care after travelling around Australia. In her spare time, she loves painting local wildlife, swimming in the sea and relaxing with her pet cat and rabbits.

Claire joined Isabelle Vets in 2024, having held various customer services roles in the past. She loves animals and has owned dogs and horses from an early age. Outside of work, she can often be found walking her dogs and helping her daughters with their dressage horses. When she does get a moment to herself, she enjoys baking and floristry.

Rebecca worked as a legal secretary before joining our team in 2021, and was delighted to be promoted to senior receptionist in 2024. In her spare time, she loves reading and spending time with her family and their dog, Clio. She also volunteers at her local church, working with children.

Cheryl has been with us since 1994 and is responsible for stock management and food ordering. She has been involved in the local horse and dog communities since she was a child, and now enjoys supporting her daughter’s equine pursuits.

Before joining our reception team, Vanessa spent 15 years working in the travel industry as a sales and customer service agent. Her favourite part of her role is meeting and greeting pets and their owners and assisting them however she can. She hopes to get a dog of her own one day and loves alpacas and goats.

Helen joined our L’Islet reception team in 2022, having previously worked at a busy pharmacy for many years. She enjoys helping our clients and getting to know their pets, having grown up surrounded by her own animals. Away from the reception desk, she spends much of her free time with her horse, Percy, her pony, Goose, and her dog, Toby.

Before joining our team in 2023, Sophie worked in the travel and tourism industry for 10 years. In her own time, she has a passion for ocean and marine life and enjoys swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving. She also enjoys getting stuck into craft projects, being part of a local skittles team and caring for her own cats, Gizo and George.

Katie joined our L’Islet reception team in 2025. Prior to this, she worked as a nurse and a training and events manager, planning conferences and events.. Away from work, her dog, Hugo has her wrapped around her little paw and travels everywhere with her – he has been all over Europe. She also likes walking, cooking and unwinding with a good mystery book.

Peter spent 36 years working in finance before opting for a new challenge and joining us in 2025. Having always loved animals, he thoroughly enjoys his role on reception. Away from the practice, he is a keen ballroom and latin dancer and enjoys gardening and baking. The team enjoys trying his latest baked goods!

Practice Manager
Elle has been with us since 2015, progressing to head receptionist in 2023 before becoming our practice manager. She enjoys engaging in conversation with humans and animals alike. In her spare time, she is kept on her toes by her dog, Murphy. When she’s not entertaining him, she can usually be found listening to music or playing games.
Tessa Lesley
RVN, Pharmaceutical and Product Manager
Tessa completed her veterinary nursing training in 1978 at a mixed practice in Winchester. In 1986, she moved to Cambridge to work as a theatre nurse at the university, helping to train veterinary students. She moved to Guernsey in 2003 and joined our nursing team the following year. She now manages stock control and medicine orders and deliveries, including deliveries from our wholesalers. Her other duties include routine date checking and keeping the prep-room cupboards well stocked for our veterinary nurses.
Nicky Le Galloudec
RVN, Administrator
Nicky joined us in 1993, before qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1999. She subsequently gained certificates in animal nutrition and became a pet health counsellor through Royal Canin. She later achieved assessor status, enabling her to help train student veterinary nurses, and undertook a course in pharmacology. In 2015, she took on a part-time administrative and insurance role, which she carries out alongside her veterinary nursing. Cats are her thing!

Born and raised in Guernsey, Sarah graduated from Cambridge Veterinary School in 1985. She joined our practice in the 1990s, focusing on small animal work. She now enjoys an administrative role, which sees her process insurance claims, oversee health and safety and Practice Standards and support the day-to-day running of the practice and our role in the community.

Naomi joined our team in 2008, shortly after completing her veterinary nursing degree at The Royal Veterinary College. A few years later, she made a career change and went into an administrative healthcare role, before rejoining us in 2022. She now oversees our rota and inputs our vets’ schedules onto our system.

Claire has over 20 years of experience in administration and loves getting to know our clients. Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active with her family, whether they’re spending time outdoors, cycling, sup boarding, sailing or walking their dog, Flash. After a long day, she likes to relax at home with her cats, Bella and Tigger.
